Abuse is a global phenomenon that, despite increased media attention, continues to affect the most vulnerable individuals in our society. This complex societal problem has devastating effects on children's development. This book aims to enlighten readers about the developmental processes that contribute to maltreatment and its harmful effects on children's developmental trajectories.
Abuse, High-Risk Living Environments and Disorganized Attachment
This meta-analysis shows the harmful effects of maltreatment and sociodemographic risk factors on the development of disorganized attachment. The article provides a model of the trajectories leading to disorganization.

Orienting investment decisions with Relational Intervention
This innovative project is the first to integrate an intervention into a parenting capacity assessment to examine whether RI is valid for assessing parents' ability to change and predicting the rate of maltreatment recurrence. In addition to showing the positive effects of IR on the parent and child, psychoeducators who have applied IR can better predict the recurrence of malprovernized in the following year. They are thus better judges to guide investment decisions.Already this work is having a significant impact on the CJs and internationally.

The effectiveness of The Relational Intervention
The paper by Moss et al. (2011) is the1st paper where we presented the effectiveness of RI. The results show a significant improvement in the child's maternal sensitivity and secure attachment, as well as a decrease in behavioural problems and disorganized attachment. This work has a significant impact on the clinical communities concerned nationally and internationally. Cited 490 times. Even Dubois-Comtois et al. (2017) where we show the effectiveness of IR in improving the motor and mental development of the child.
CARE – LAIR
CARE and REPAIRE are mobilization groups developed by our team and set up to transfer knowledge and supervise the intervention-relational stakeholders, and to promote the ownership and sustainability of this intervention.
